Ways To Increase Your Ratio

1. Choose something to seed carefully! When you decide to seed something, check how many leechers there are on that torrent. It won't do your ratio that good at all to seed something that has only 10 leechers, but something with 60+ leechers will gurantee that you will be uploading as fast as your upload speed can go up to.

2. Make sure that you are connecting as fast as you can. Make sure you are not firewalled and have all your ports forwarding correctly. H Tarar has wrriten an excellent guide to open Ports in Windows Firewall : How To Open Ports In Windows Firewall
To open your Router ports, you can visit www.portforward.com and select your router then follow further instructions.

3. You can seed the TV Torrent that you have previously downloaded so that it counts towards your ratio. However, this is recomended with the new TV Torrents once you have completed 100%. http://www.dctorrent.com/showthread.php?t=36318
Note: If you don't want it to count to your ratio, please still seed it because its a p2p network and helps the community.

4. Limit your download speed while you get a file. Just because you can download at 600kb/s doesnt mean you should! For those of you ( and yes, there are lots) that have slower upload speed than their download speed, try limiting your download speed so it is closer to the speed you upload at. This would help your ratio because it will upload the same amount as you are downloading if there are enough Seeders/Leechers.
