sir i have a suggestion for inviting new members to dct
instead of giving invites we can :-
->give a special account to guest user if he signs up
-> he cant do anything with the account i mean like posting anything
-> he can download only free torrents but his upload will be counted
-> after his upload reaches a value like 20gb or so he will be given the normal account

this way we can have members who really want to be here.
constructive criticism will be appreciated

Someone who is going to upload gb before getting any benefit of a member than why make it invites only. Don't you want more committed members anyway. Why not make it free for everyone, whoever reaches 20gb they can be a member with dc.

Think about it, it changes nothing really. They will be given a guest account and all the free torrents they can access anyway, so they will upload 20gb for their own sake.

yeah it is a good idea

giving invites means we frame rules like :
if a user is banned for low ratio the one giving invites loses all his invites...this is rude for him who is a reputed member.
A modification can be made to above method as :-
-> after the guest gets usual account reset his ratio
-> he is allowed to have a maximum of 5 gb difference between upload and download
ie (download- upload)<=5gb
-> if he fails to fulfill above condition his account is deleted
-> even in that case dct will have extra 15 gb upload
-> continuing this way if he uploads 50 gb the max diff of 5 gb condition is removed from him
and his account is normal
-> mods please think over it it can really help to attract members who really need a account and want to continue with it but cannot get the invite.

Don't worry about this bhai. Nothing like this will be implemented here on DC. How many people do you think are interesting in this lol. This thread is open for quite a time now and only 6 reply's. People have time to write what time it is, how much is your upload, what song you are listing to, rather than looking at DC suggestions. In the past there are many great suggestions that have been bought up but as for my memory may a few have been implemented. This is too hard to be implemented and frankly no one really cares.

lol. Just think about it cyrus, do you see any mods looking at this thread, they obviously have better things to do lol.. This suggestion thing is just a satisfactory option for us local members lol You can look back on some of the other suggestions threads and hardly a result has come out lol. Forget about it buddy, DC is fine as it is. Unless you can get like few hundred members to have a look at this thread. I mean people are busy with spaming in spam threads than do this.
