Melody has gone into oblivion. In the era of computerized instrument based music when Himesh Reshammiya, Sunidhi Chauhan and others are flourishing, we are loosing interest in singers whose gifted voice once surprised us. And, Kumar Sanu is one of them who has always focussed on his voice rather than the use of instrument. My love for Sanu started since he had started singing Kishore Kumar songs. Captious people used to call him copycat, however, Sanu, in the long run, proved his flair with his magical voice and originality. Sanu, originally known as Kedar Bhattacharya, won the heart of the people by singing thousands of songs in different languages. I have heard that his name was written in Guinness book of world records for his longest recording! Once one terminal patient got relief of soul when he listened to "Jab Koyi Baat Bigad Jaye". As a devoted fan of Kumar Sanu, I am presenting this awesome collection of some of his evergreen songs.
