What is a violet color line in utorrent ? [Answered]

Today I saw a three lines appearing in my utorrent. One red for upload, green for download and another one Violet for upload. I never saw this violet line before. Can anyone tell me what is this violet line and why my upload is higher than the download and it all happened suddenly while I was sleeping.

See the upload is higher than the download.. while the movie which I am downloading has 146 seeds(18 connected) and 307 peers(20 connected) so I guess I should get full speed download for these numbers.

See this 5 minute resolution :

See sometime at night the download dropped suddenly and this violet upload line appeared from nowhere and this remained forever..

Can anyone tell me what is this Violet line as I googled it but didn't find anything about it.

The purple colored line represents the current global upload speed going toward local peers.... its the local peer bandwidth for uplaod
u may also see a CYAN colored line having a similar function but for download ....

and don't worry about it ... its normal ....

And yh, don't be mistaken that if u have 15 or 115 seeders/leechers on a torrent then u will get full download speed .. u may even get awesome speeds with even 1 seeder/leecher ...
The speed depends upon a number of things.

Thank you very much Acc3ss, personally I thing is related with the subject, this is the reason you wont see me very often in this area because for me sometimes I find it very bizarre the reaction of Staff of DcT. Anyway I don’t want anything, I was just curious.

it all depends on seeders, if seeders on low upload speeds like dialup even if there are 100 seeders you wont get max speed

or say they are located in a remote country & your isp doesn't have good routing, you wont get good speeds

while if there is a dedicated server seeding a particular torrent & has good peering with ur isp, you will get good speeds

you can get good speeds on torrents, on which seeders/peers have better routing with ur isp and have good upload speeds

torrents are not for max speed, they are for distributed file transfers & that brings in the unreliability of speeds due to lots of variables in place

Like I always says, after certain period of time, you know your users, “ Who is WHO “ I have never ever argue with anybody until they hurt me somehow. Just give you a stupid example, if I put a thread with the title: “ For K!ll3r Bhai” or “For Desi9” you and I know there is no 56 people with theses names on DcT, but somebody somewhere will come and tell you “ Put proper title”.
