I am getting Tracker Status Offline (Timed Out) again and again. Works fine for few hours, and for few hours timed out. All the torrents were UL and DL during timed out. Does the UL amount during timed out gets counted into DcT stats? Why do I get this offline status?

I am using uTorrent 1.7.6. Port forward working.

it also happens with me when i m using 1.7.6 it gets ok when i restart my connetion and utorrent
to bypass it i have installed utorrent 1.8b
i think this problem is with utorrent 1.7.6 not dctorrent as it works fine with 1.6.1 1.8b and azureus

Untill DcT received stats from utorrent... no ul/dl will be counted...

did you try rt click -> update tracker ???

as sometimes there is network traffic / network lag causing stats packet to be lost in transit.. .and utorrent doesn't get an ACK...

Yes, I did manually updated the tracker, after updating it used to again show the time Update in 10:00 sometimes 40:00 and different times.

Should i continue seeding during time out or pause seeding?

no you should not continue seeding when this error comes.

you should stop the torrent and esxit utorrent because when this error comes during this nothing gets counted on site

this error is with utorrent and not trackers or conenction

utorrent is trying its best to overcome it and they r releasing new version pretty rapidly

utorrent 1.7.7 is out now u can try that as well

all of us faces this problem some people at a rapid rate and some once or twice in month.

plus since u r from uae your isp sometimes also leads to this problem.

everytime this error comes u have no solution except to exit utorrent and start again

and if you com is having good speed i mean good configuration and it wont get slowed down easily then switch over to azureus 2.5.0.4

try ping ur dns server 1st, if that is working or not
