Hi,

I love DCTORRENT for its quality and fast downloads. However I have noticed that once my download finishes, even if i keep the torrent and data for upload for weeks, there is hardly any upload happening from my side.
I would like to contribute my share and not be selfish, but this upload / download management is not doing my figures and good.
Any suggestions ?

that might be cuz there r no leechers[downloaders]

to contribute... it is easier to upload the torrents in demand... if there is no one willing to download then there will be no uploading at ur side...

There is sometimes issue with ports of windows which get blocked .. so u can try exiting from utorrent and restarting it.. manytimes this work for me...

New users should start with new torrents & music (free leech) only .

Once they gave a good ratio (2.0) and upload (say 50gb) , they can jump on old torrents & and download them and not worry abt seeding them back to full unless they want to. This doesn't mean that old torrents shouldn't be seeded, but seeding them back is hard as only handful of ppl download them.

So my tip is , build ur ratio before dling something which u cant seed back.
