in religious mantras..i made a new torrent and im trying to seed it..in utorrent my seeding is on..but there is a red arrow beside the torrent and in the forum..my name is not showing as a seeder..plz tell me it happenned also last time..when i close my pc and reopen and try to put up seeding agn..the seeding doesnt work..what do i do??

the red arrow besides the torrent means that the utorrent is not able to reach the tracker. Check Tracker Status on the General tab to see what the exact error message is. You might not have been able to connect to peers or maybe u have ur DHT on?

right clcik on the torrent and click on update tracker

Can you make sure that Firewall/PeerGuardian etc is not blocking DcT tracker?

Do as dr_cool has said .. ie tell us the error u are getting...

You name is there in seeders and from your profile i can see that u r seeding 'naats'...

Also what do you mean by "close my pc and reopen" .... You need not close/reopen ur computer that often.. unless u r changing/fixing hardware..... Just try shutdown/restart ...

ok i will shutdown and restart..lol..nyways it says tracker status: offline (timed out) and DHT status :not allowed..oh yeh i tried updating the tracker..dint work..i had read the tutorial..i think its cuz there are no peers..is it correct if we have no peers we may get a red arrow sign beside the seeding torrent..btw i am the first seeder of this torrent..i created it...and im located in UAE..with etisalat..maybe its sumthin to do with the ISP provider...i have another problem also..itll be gr8 if u guys could help??..u know the green tick button that tells u if ur port is forwarded or not...sumtimes it used to show for me but now it doesnt..i followed portforward.com..and adjusted my router..but they dont have an exact version of my router..only a very near one..nyways the problem is when i make my ip static the lan client ip which is already dynamic disappears after a while...altho doing this in the beginning works..and i can see the green tick for a minute or to..after a while there is nuthin in the lan ip..and i cant access port forward..the router displays a msg saying that u shud first enter a lan client ip..for example i made my static ip 198.168.1.136.. and as 4 evryone ( i think so...) the main gateway is 192.168.1.1..so which one do i put as the lan ip client ??? 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.136????? thank you guys for giving me sum advice b4 its greatly appreciated..

u are getting offline (timed out) error ..... so just update the tracker or restart utorrent ......

To all the UAE users, everything was working fine till Wednesday but because of some cable damage the users are having speed problems. All i can say is, have some patience and read local newspaper to know all the details about the prob.

Because of our speed, we are getting those different errors while DL or UL. Sometimes it is tracker offline, host not found etc etc. I just exit uTorrent and started only chatting. When the speed will get fine, will start seeding again

is that y windows live messenger..yahoo messenger..windows live mail..facebook..and sum other sites are not working????
