I am trying to utorrent on my new machine at my house... I use bittornado at work. When i try using utorrent here I get the message "Connection closed by peer" as the status for the tracker when I try to download any file.. I am unable to connect to anybody. Any help on this is appreciated.

check if u r firewall is blocking utorrent.......

I tried the utorrent test... It can connect back to my client.. but I am not able to connect to the tracker at all.... I tried even manual announce. doesnt seem to work.

I am behind a router and I have done the port forwardings...

and given that port that u forwarded in utorrent?? remember to uncheck the option that says randomize ports everytime utorrnet starts.

I have done that too... Its always the same port 32549... thats the port number...

ask ur isp mayb they banned port 6969 i'v heard in sum iSP's they hav banned port 6969
|

I think utorrent has had some very complicated issues with these [ports] kind of problems ! Should check to see if your router if you use one has port forwarding on it ! Also note that some modems also have port configuration on them !
