I could create the post as i have more than 25 posts

i am seeding in utorrent and its still showing inactive torrent.

I am trying to access the following guides for uploading

Both link work fine , dont know wat ur trying

and ur torrent seems to be uploading, just make sure u have ur port forward done to get max upload and connectivity with peers

also which client are u using ? use utorrent or azureus

did u read wat he is saying ?

and wat 45 days restrictions r u talking abt in all the threads , better get ur act cleared before some mod gives u infraction for misinforming users

I know! i asked a friend of mine... he can access both user guide... but when i click on link i get the above mentioned message.

Any way i dont know how... but utorrent is not uploading ... but i tried bitcomet
and it seems toupload
i am confused

but its ok as long as its seeding!!!
hopefully my first attempt will be sucessfull!

sorry for creating problems here.

i tried to reply earlier but my damn isp got down..

the guide has been moved to restricted area because it needs some urgent changes to be done in it and to be updated as well.

being a normal user you cant access it.

well i you need the present guide for your reference i will post it here.

This is for all those who are still confused as to how to make a torrent and relase it..

To make a torrent you need torrent client.. Id strongly recommend utorrent for the same. You can download it from HERE.

Once you have downloaded and installed it... you need to configure it.

Please refer THIS THREAD for the same.

Now we start to make a torrent.

1. Open utorrent and Click on Create Torrent icon as shown below.



2. After you click on create torrent.. you will see the following screen.
a. Click on add file if you want to release a single file.
b. Click on Add Directory If you want to select a directory containing more than one file



3. When you click on Add File, you will see following screen. Go to the drive where your data is stored and select the file as shown



4. When you click on Add Folder, you will see following screen. Go to the drive where your data is stored and select the Folder



5. Once you have selected the file/folder and clicked on OK... you will see the following screen.
Now keep everything as u see below

1) Piece Size = Auto Detect
2) Tick mark on Private Torrent
3) Trackers= http://dctorrent.com:6969/announce
4) Tick Mark on Start Seeding

After adding all above things click Create and Save As as shown below




6. It will start creating torrent and the green bars will indicate the the process time.. It shouldn't take more than a minute. Once it is complete.. it will ask you where to save the the torrent file as shown below.



7. Once you give it the location It will save the torrent file and then you will see the following..
Click Close and and you will see that the torrent you just created is showing seeding.
This shows you have successfully created the torrent.






Now We Will take up second part

How to upload torrent on dc and seed it.

1. Open www.dctorrent.com

2. Go the the respective forum where you want to release. In my case its Music Videos.
When in appropriate section Click on New Thread As shown Below



3. When you Click on New Thread you will see the screen simliar as below



4. Add Title and a few description about what you are releasing. Now Scroll down till you see Manage Attachments Option and then click on it.



5. After Clicking you will see new screen as shown below
Now Click On Browse as shown below



6. You will see the following screen. Now Select the torrent you created from your hard disk where you saved



7. When you click on open you will see the screen similar to below. Click on upload as shown below. It will take a minute to upload..


8. Once it is uploaded.. you will see the following screen.
Click on "Close This Window" as shown below.




9. Now back on the main page.. You will See the torrent you just uploaded above Manage Attachments.
Now if You dont wish to add any more information to your thread in description or title, then click on submit thread shown below



10. Once You Click on Submit New Thread.. Your thread will be created... and you shud see the following screen and your torrent will be there also as shown.



11. Now Click on the torrent... you should see the following. Click on Download and save the torrent file on the desktop your computer...



12. Now Open your desktop and double click the the torrent file which you just downloaded.



13. When you double click on torrent, it will open in utorrent and you will see the the following screen.
Click on "yes" when it asks to load trackers from torrent. it will then add the tracker with your passkey in it which will point dc to add the amount you uploaded into your account.



14. After few minutes check the thread you created on DC and You will see your name in seeders list of your thread as shown below



Congratulatins You have successfully created and released the torrent on dc and guess what you are seeding properly as well.

Well one important thing make sure your read all the rules for releasing files in appropriate section like giving proper information,screenshots etc....
