[Answered]Tracker/Torrent problem plzzz help

Guys I m facing this weirg error with my tracker when I try to post new things on dctorrent I use the tracker given on home page its showing error of unregistered torrent

its happening from quite some time now when I m seeding some else torrent all runs fine so something is wrong with my torrent only I tried to fix but not helping

CAn someone help out with this plz???

did u download the torrent again ? you need to do that to seed it

Download again y?? I posted new stuff of my own so created new torrent all together u mean t say I have to d/w the torrent file again ???

I tried re downloading the torrent file n seed but still not helping

i think u just said its giving u "unregistered torrent " error

this is because
watever torrent u created is created on your stand alone machine and its not registered with our server.

now when u upload the torrent to dc. your torrent gets registered to our tracker.

so the torrent which u have on ur machine is not registered and the torrent which u will download from dc after uploading will be the one which is registered.

so first upload the torrent and then download it from here and when u open tht torrent in the torrent client it will ask where u want to save the stuff which tht torrent can download.

give it the location where ur actual data is saved on harddisk.
now it will startt checking and if this check goes to 100%
it will means u already have all the files tht torrent can download and then it will start seeding.

The process of making a torrent in nearly all torrent clients is nearly the same. You have to specify a FILE or a FOLDER in every case. Tracker URL is to be given and then just SAVE the torrent.
