Compare with Nokia 7610 on nokia's website. 6280 misses out a host of features. If I am not wrong, then 6280 does not support .sis files.

to me, this phone is a big disappointment. it uses a S40 based OS which i think is just not worth it. S60 OS is considered the best right now. even windows mobile is nothing compared to S60 OS. my advice would be to spend your money wisely.

yep s60 phones are considered to b the best.but does dat mean s40 phones are not worth a buy? i've used dis phone.it has a 2 MP camera and a VGA camera for video conferencing.
Temme any s60 phone dat matches the sound quality of dis phone,plug-in the headphones and u'll hear the difference !!amazing sound quality.dual speakers add to its features.
agreed dat .sis files dunt work in dis phone but u can always find the s40 softwares on the web.
this phones lacks in another department ..i.e u can only store ur sms's in ur phone memory and the memory alloted to ur sms's is quite low(all s40 phones hav this problem) and u cant transfer dem to ur memory card.
but if u take my advice go for the NOKIA 6270 rather than the NOKIA 6280
coz all the features are the same but it supports MMC's of 512 MB and 1Gb
whereas the nokia 6280 doesnt support dese.
but the nokia 6270 misses out on the VGA camera.
All in all i wud suggest u nokia 6270....if u wanna go for an s40 phone.
