Idea - Secret codes/hidden options thread
Hey, i was thinking, why not make a Secret codes/hidden options thread where people post the secret codes to enter hidden parts of the phoner and to activate things? This can proover very helpful, especially when people need restart codes. What do you think? Thanks

Nokia
Need any codes which are not on here? Then PM me on which phone and i'll tyr to get them. Or post here! Your Nokia cell phone can be programmed to pick up radar speed traps, when programmed your cell phone picks up the radar and alerts you on the message alert tone. 1. Enter your menu 2. Select settings 3. Select security settings 4. Select closed user group 5. Select on 6. Enter 00000 7. Press ok 8. Clear back to normal, within a few seconds your phone will display a radar sign with five zero's next to it. It is now activated. Unfortunately only Nokia phones have this function. Cell info display needs to be de-activated. Settings -> Phone Settings -> Cell Info display Each time you turn off your phone, or even each time you loose contact with your carrier, you´ll have to activate it again... It is done by steps 1 through 5, but the number (00000) will be already on the field as default. Imei Information To view the imei number on this model simply type *#06# Service Provider Lock Service Provider lock is the lock to your phone which is implement by your service provider e.g. Orange onto your sim card. The phone is usually locked to a certain SP but it can be unlocked allowing you access to other service providers that provide a better deal. The same effect can also be used by using a Dual sim, you could have two sim cards in one phone allowing you to switch between sims and SP 1. First sim = Orange 2. Second sim = One2One |

I think this was because there is no clock in the phone. Free phone calls using the GA628 This trick has only been reported working on PREPAID GSM CARDS and in some countries and with some sw versions. The prepaid GSM SIM CARD is a kind of "SIM card" which only has a sertant amount of credit on it (like a normal phonebox telecard)... if it can be traced? - we don't know... Well..here's the trick you dial the no. normally and press YES. While "connecting" is shown on the screen, the following procedure should be carried out: Press CLR then 0 then # and then NO (twice) so as to switch OFF the phone. You can then still speak on the phone while it is switched off but the SIM card does not record your calls which will lead to FREE phone calls in some countries.. we hope!! Another variant of the code Make a Call, while the phone says Connecting type 083# (the position 83 must be empty! ), when phone says Pos Emtpy, press the NO key and turn off the phone. If you can make the call with the phone turned off you will face a problem when you need to hang up the phone...the only way for you to do that is remove the battery...???
