Okay, so I currently have a motorola razr v3 and I am sick n tired of it
So, I'm planning to buy a new unlocked cellphone, and I came across the Nokia n81 8gb phone for around $360 on Amazon, and $400 + on other sites. The features look quite good considering the huge amount of space, and it has a wifi too which seems like a plus to me. I wanted to know is the phone actually worth the price? If any of you's have it, can u tell me if its good, like the durability etc.? or should I opt for another phone? I guess the 2mp camera is the only bad thing I find in it ..caz It could have been better, but that doesnt bother me much .. the N95 has a 5mp one and almost all the same features, but it exceeds my budget way too far... I really have my eye on this n81, I might go ahead with it here's the link if u want to read the product description: Code:

Well, I have been using a Nokia N95 since it appeared in the mobile market. In my opinion I think it is a brilliant mobile phone in regards to its features and performance.
Coming to the Nokia N81 8GB, this mobile phone is also up to the N-Series standards which Nokia is known for. Besides, the major drawback towards this phone has been created by the 2MP camera which has been placed in this mobile phone, I think the mobile phone has all it needs to be called an excellent phone because it consists of all the things you need in a mobile phone. It includes; WiFi Support (WLAN), 8GB of internal memory, brilliant display, touch sensitive navi wheel and a good battery life of around 400hrs standby time. The normal edition Nokia N81 is basically the same thing as well because it has all the features and you could insert a 8GB MicroSD card in there too. I'll recommend you to get yourself a Nokia N81 8GB because it is worth the price you have stated, or else you could wait for the Nokia N96 to release internationally in a few months (3rd Q-2008) which would cause the Nokia N95's price to decrease significantly or even go after the Nokia N96 but taking note the value of the mobile phone would be on top of the mountain. Another phone you could consider is the Nokia N95 8GB edition which is also a nice and brilliant phone. At the moment, if your after a mobile phone, Nokia N81 8GB would be the right choice, go for it |

It does have WiFi, but to be honest this phone has had some really bad feedback, one thing regarding the loudspeaker; It's not up to standard and yeah they are not stereo speakers unlike the Nokia N81 or the Nokia N95. The speakers are placed on the back of the phone which will convert the sound into a disaster because the speakers are not up to standards anyways and whilst using the phone, for example the web browser and listening to music would be just horrible because your hands would be covering the speaker, lol. 2.5MM headphone input instead of a 3.5MM headphone input. I haven't heard good things about the user interface either, the phone is just below average in browsing through the menus, etc. To be honest, there is no best phone in this mobile industry every phone has its negatives and I have not seen a phone which is 100% perfect. At the end of the day its your choice on what to get and I am just giving some views, I'll recommend you to go check these phones out locally and listen to yourself though, Nokia N81 8GB is there for you to get your hands on, the price is less than the E66 which had just released a few days ago and the price is well below the Nokia N95 rrp. Anyways, good luck in buying your next mobile phone, you will love the phone you will get next anyways because it's most likely it would be better than your previous phone the Motorola Razr V3! |

I am not rich hmm about the iphone 3G, I haven't looked into that much, and just dont really seem interested in it ... it seems more like an ipod than an actual phone .. maybe I'll read some reviews on it.. Quote:
and about the sony erricson, I was gonna go for it, but I have heard a lot that their keypads are really stiff and made out of cheap plastic thus it tends to crack really easily .. and since I text a lot, I dont want anything happening like that to me hmm so what do u think about ur N95? what's wrong with the performance? the user interface or the quality of the phone calls etc.? |
