Hi,
I have a question. I have joined a month back. Have downloaded 4-5 movies and few OSTs. After DL I have it all for seeding all the time, but still most of the time I don't see any UL happening.
I received a warning that my ratio is less, but what can I do if no one wants to connect to my m/c ???

So much so that if I DL using torrent from other site, I manually stop it from seeding and have seeding only for dctorrents.

i don't see you seeding a single torrent, u have downloaded predvd which ppl wont bother downloading once dvd is released.

now go to music section and try build up ratio, as its all free leech. select torrents with more leechers on it

THese torrents still have leechers and seeding them will definately help ur ratio. Or you might wana consider donation for more upload.

Hey, I can't keep my laptop on for 24 hrs, but whenever I do, I keep Azureus running for seeding.
Thats what my point is, this restriction is in place to punish people who don't seed after downloading.
Now just coz I have downloaded preDVDs or older movies like Yahaan and Life in a Metro I shudn't be punished even though I am seeding for them coz nobody else wants them.
I have seeded Saawariya for some time now but only 16 MB has been uploaded.
Compare this with Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind which I downloaded from another tracker. And by the time I downloaded 1.36 GB, 1.23 GB had already been UL.

Somehow I don't like this idea of downloading something just to boost my share ratio.
Isn't "I'll share whatever I have downloaded" good enough?

Uh, no. Some people cap their upload to like 1KB/s so they don't have to seed, and this isn't fair to a free community, not only that person downloads there are hundreds of others also download. If you can't upload then don't download, it's easy as that. If one wants to keep a community/p2p site alive, then it is NECESSARY to seed in a 1:1 ratio or more.
