I knew that you guys might think that I made another account but actually my sister registered today. She has been using my account for quite some time which I really dislike so I told her to get her own account since registrations were open today.

Yeh account mere liye bahut important hai because since I stay away from India it keeps me connected with the latest happenings and all. I just hope ki sab kuch thik ho jayega.

My sis was always using my account and not seeding. Since I have started to seed, i dont want it to get ruined is liye I told her to get her own account. That way she will have her own ratio and I will have mine. She is 15 years old so I will definitely teach her how to seed.

i said since u dint informed earlier we dint knew about this thing that two people share one pc.
since both account will show same ip to we thought you created another one so the dupe id went in moderation and since we dint knew anything so we would have banned the id of ur sis and since u have low ratio we could have done that to your id as well

but now since all the confusions r clear and we know abt it we wont bann any of the ids

I think this will help us to get more seeders bcoz lot of times you can see that a torrent has been downloaded so many times but there are not many seeders. Specially if a torrent is few days old.

this rule is very impartial.
1st it is unfair to newbies whomaintain a ratio of 1 & above.
2nd many people like me who have limited internet connection or low bandwidth line download very selected torrents that we really need, it is very difficult to get that 4GB upload for us.
3rd most seeders & leechers would be active for the first 48 hrs only, after that time for small torrents(upto 1.5 GB ) there ll be many more seeds & we ll get high download speeds but we would have far less no. of leechers making the 4 GB upload still tougher.
I hope the mods give it a rethought

The rule isn't impartial or anything. If you just make duplicate accounts then what do we do? We ban you and then you say that it is unfair. But if we keep such restrictions, the creation of duplicate accounts will reduce (possibility). And this way, DCT can also become a leech-free site, so torrents will be alive longer. We have to impose such rules for the sake of DCT. If you don't like it then leave, we don't want you here either. On another note, if you want to enjoy this site to the fullest then you HAVE to seed, and to start out - go download some old torrents and keep them on for a week or two, and you'll see your ratio increase, and that way you'll know you can download 1-2GBs at most without worrying about your account being banned, since the first time you ever download something, you may not know such stuff, so the first thing you'll see will help YOU in the end, not us. Also, not everyone grabs the torrents as soon as they come out, some do wait till there are couple of seeders, and who care about there ratio.

Harsh reply but fairly said. I joined today and downloaded some music which have enough seeders and had no wait time problem because they were obviously more than two days old releases. Two days wait probably isn't that bad. After two days, you can find more seeders than in the first two days. I read some complains about TV Serials. But one can wait two days for a serial to watch. You don't lose anything in two days or you have to seed to have more than 4 GB uploaded.
