Wud be much bettter, if ppl stopped compalining and got down to serious work... U wanna use DCT, than follow the rules, Build up ur Ratio, stay active and enjoy all the Freebies thats being shared..

@ those who r claiming to be on other torrents as well- Well most of us here are on other torrent sites as well, but we know the quality and value.. DCT has a NICHE of its own and that shows in all our releaser's work....

@ those of us who thing the rule is crazy and weird- No matter what is ur perception on it, a rule/law is a rule and needs to be followed...

I am a new user of DC torrent . I just started using it today . My first download is
"Welcome" title track . I do not know what is meant by seeding and please clarify me
is it the final rule or I have some time before start of application of this rule that we have to upload 4GB or wait for 48 hours ,and please tell me how can I upload and what is meant by seeding .

good decision... i can wait till i upload 4gb...
after all i need about a week or 10 days to download with my internet connection... i will just add 2 days to it...
atleast by this rule people with faster connections can upload more which will give the downloaders more seed availability...
its good for everyone and i am for the rule...

I am opposed to this rule in one way. It should not have been applied to New Members. Apply this rule to say 2+ month old member who have uploaded less than 4 GB. New people are asking these type of questions everywhere.

this is very unfair in my opinion its impossible to get upload 4 gig w/o access to the most popular torrents(tv,movies etc)..if we r only allowed to d/w the torrent after 2 days..by that the time the creme of the crop of downloaders will already have them downloaded and very few them and very few will want it...its so hard for us newbies to JUST seed music and old movies and get a it that high..if ur trying to get rid of newbies and only keep ur elitist coummunity ur doing one hell of a job cuz its gonna be impossible to d/w and seed that much..even thats why my ratio is pathetic cuz i can't find anything in music/old movies that anyone wants anymore!

I think TV torrents should also be like music torrents.

That way reaching 4GB will be much easier coz I will get to upload TV and Music at the same time.
