well i think this should be a boost to the music section

if only the docu section was also exempted from this then it would be great

any newie here or on any good torrent site for that matter should now have enough IQ to sense that one should always hit the ratio free sections .. boost up ones ratio and then hit the other ratio based sections and seed for one day more after finishing his download

that way i feel one could build up an exceptional ratio and easily navigate around restrictions such as wait times and slots

i strongly propose that the slots be reduced instead of barring them all together from fast moving sections .. so that once someone gets hold of a movie JUST RELEASED on the forum there is a very nice chance of seeding it way beyond a ratio of 10 - 20

When I once had a 64k ul connection, uploads were at 500 - 700 mb a day at max speeds ! yikes... But waiting for just 48hrs after torrent release aint so bad either. That'll give em' more leechers to seed to.

Now I know why I was not able to download new torrents from here even though my ratio is 0.85 (still seeding to up my ratio). I am a newbie here and because of this 4GB rule, it will take me ages to get up to that point because I'll have to download loads of music torrents unnecesarily (that I don't want) and wait for people who want them to take it from me. I mainly joined for the movie torrents. This rule is very tough. Can the moderators please rethink? As you can see, I am a newbie and my ratio is already 0.85. Still increasing, but there are very few leechers left to take it from me as I've just started and the torrent that I downloaded haven't got many leechers left, hence the slow speed. If I can't download new torrents, then how am I going to share it and increase my upload figures? Normally, it is the ratio that should determine these restrictions like if the ratio is below 1.0 for old members and say 0.50 for new members (to give them breathing space), these restrictions should apply.
