Hi.. I have a question. Since couple of weeks, when I request to download TV Show (SONY TV - Ambar Dhara), I don't get any download? Is this beacuse of this new rule? I have uploaded more than 10GB of data and my ratio is 4.5. Can someone explain me what I should do to fix?

what message do you get when you try to download it?

Are you getting any error in general tab of your client ?

Make sure that you are not using any banned client :-

Are there any seeders to that torrent you are trying to download ? As from your profle, I cannot see you downloading anything.

i am currently uploading "koffee with karan" and "jodha akbar" songs.
In my profile it just shows koffee with karan as uploading.
I don't understand why not "jodha akbar"

I have currently uploaded 593mb of koffee with karan
and 113mb of jodha akbar

why does my ratio not change?

Thank you. Your tips helped. When I visited banned clients thread, I found that I needed to download latest version of Utorrent. I was using older version of Utorrent. Now i am fine. Thanks again.

i think this rule harms the new comers like me the most.
the main reason behind this is that all the new ones are gathering only at the music torrents and so there is less seedind effectively per person
and if we wait for 48 hours and then download the torrent and then after try to seed it then almost all the big users have already dwnloaded that torrent.so we are not at all able to upload at very high speed or even cant upload.so please have a little comfort in this rule,
if possible. its my humble request to u all admins and moderators

48hrs wait time applies to private/members only torrents. Music and TV torrents are still ratio free.

Majority of releases do have leechers even after 48hrs of its release. For e.g, even after 10days of release 53rd Filmfare awards has 76 leechers

You can easily maintain your ratio by seeding TV torrents or music torrents for as long as possible.
* Release new stuff.
* Download and seed ratio free torrents (Music and TV).
* Seed for as long as possible.

From my point of view this rule is nice,as it will give new members a means to maintain their ratios,which eventually will save them from being banned.Great idea and also making the mark as 4Gb sounds great(partly bcoz i am exempted from it being applicable to me) as it will give them a greater chance of being leechers + seeders at the same time,thereby reminding new members that seeding is as good as leeching,.....
