I have been maintaining 1.5 ratio and uploaded several GB as well. I'm paid member and i was given 20GB of free download but i maintained the ratio from beginning that's because once 20GB was over it would be very hard to pick up on ratio.
I'm just telling all this because i read somewhere that this is for new members to know there is something called as seeding..... well almost everyone who knows what is torrent means they know what is seeding..... but due to their bandwidth or something they don't want to seed...... |

gud rules.... now the torrents will have a good number of seeders.
I just have one thing to tell leechers, the more u seed, the faster will it be for other members to download it. When u expect to have fast downloads, it is only fair to give back something that you've taken. I'm sure this will encourage more seeding! |

How about this wait time I'm sure most people will disagree
- If your ratio < 0.5 and/or your upload < 5.0 GB wait = 24 hours - If your ratio < 0.65 and/or your upload < 5.0 GB wait = 12 hours - If your ratio < 0.8 and/or your upload < 5.0 GB wait = 6 hours - If your ratio < 0.95 and/or your upload < 5.0 GB wait = 3 hours - If your ratio > 0.95 and/or your upload > 10.0 GB wait = 0 "And/or" means any or both. Your delay will be the largest one for which you meet at least one condition. |

if I am not wrong this rules means that I can download stuff which are posted after 48 hrs whith out maintaing a ratio ? and will not be banned. in other words I can download old movies without being banned if I do not maintain the ratio. Although I do like to seed wanted to clear my doughts. |
