yes sir!

i know they aren't meant to be broken....but sometimes it happens...we do need to defend a story, a headline or something. ur right that a discussion shouldn't be opened on religion or countries...but u can't help them ending on that note. if we debate about the iraq war, america, bush, terrorists. its bound to end up getting ugly sometimes......maybe you could put it more precisely and make it so that anything opened about a country or religion that is offensive is banned....

What's the point of the political forum then?!

What are we supposed to talk in there then? About err...no countries, no religions...then...uhhh....? Prime minister hairstyles?!

Ofcourse we can have discussions of countries, just that it should be moderated better!

The rules should be somewhat as follows...

People shouldn't be allowed to post things without sourcing, and no discrimination against religion, race or sexual orientation.
No incitement of hatred against any group of people.
No stupid generalizations.
Reasonable debate without name calling.
Justification and reasoning must be provided for every claim made.



I feel those are reasonable rules perhaps. Admin, mods and staff, please advise?

Otherwise you might as well shut the political forum, which is going to make things really really boring and uninteresting!
We can all have good debates as long as they're reasonable, why should people be denied that?

u people r already having good debates there. Admins & Mods try thier best to moderate the Site not only the political forum.
Get One thing absolutely clear. No Religious Talks anywhere on the site. ( It means no comparisons)
You can discuss anything happening in any country but not ridicule any country.
Hope its clear now.
