not fair yaar.....i m a newbie.....dnt get much time ....on top of tht i hve only 64kbps connection....so my upload n download is around 1.5 GB only.......but ratio is above 1.0......this 4GB rule is surely gonna hurt guys like me......plz consider abt this 4GB upload criteria......

it's not that hard my uploading was last week 1.25 gb now it is 4.01 gb and ratio 1.12. just try you'll come far :P

i guess it depends on the demand of the movie you are uploading... if it's high your ratio climbs overnight... anyway a helpful post

thats not fair for newbie like me, 4gb is alot. i am a working person , whatever i dload i put for upload also as long there r leecher, i dont wait for 1:1 i upload even more. guys pls be fair to all

It could depend upon the software you are using. I was using BitComet before and somehow the ratio never went above 0.5. Now I have uTorrent and my ratio is above 1.

One thing I don't agree with is to download junk to increase the ratio. Come on guys we don't want to store stuff which we are not ever going to watch. There has to be a better way to calculate how long a person has set a torrent for upload. If no one is downloading its not an uploaders problem.

YES ONCE ITS DONE just leave it the there to go back, the orange arrow in the case of bitcomet pointing upwards. To increase your ratio you however need to download.
If your ratio is bad download a torrent which is busy i.e. many seeds and a good amount of downloaders.

it means users who have uploaded less than 4gb they will get 48 hours even if they ratio is more than the above stated levels.

Also we have postponed the wait time changes to 30th March , a few more days for users to get their ratio improved and upload more than 4gb :icon_wink

by the time we getting ready to kick out some users who have real bad ratios & multiple ids

ur ratio is .61 ...well tht's not kinda bad...but stilll u need to get .80 or 1.1 atleast to not get banned....well if ur leaveing on ur bitcomet then i guess it does upload...but not much meaning ppls wud b done by then or mayb some are not connectable to u...but still keeep on seeding if u see some1 trying to download and if u hav tht torrent
