They always loose the finals

I don't know why people keep on saying that India always looses the final. Cricket is a game of skills with a bit of luck. India did well in this final with their bowlers restricting Srilanka to 274. However, Mendis was the new item the Sri came up with. Just like Piyush and Praveen in the CB series. India won both finals in a row than. Sri always have been good in the finals with Jasuriya dominating with the bat. We don't need to blame India for loosing the final as we all know that India was the best team on tour both in this asia cup and kitply cup. With this hectic schedule we are demanding too much from them. Remember this is still a very young team and it will take some time for them to develop as true champions.

Agree on the part where you said they are having hectic schedule. But they were partying a night before the final!
I was 99% sure, if they beat Srl in super 4, they gonna lose the finals, exactly the same with kitply and other series, they win un-important games and prove to be a n00bish team in finals. I dont have exact stats, they have won 2 out of 23 finals in recent times.
Indian cricket team was the same without youngsters (lose finals) and it hasnt changed with so called youngsters in the team.

It seems like Indians are getting to overconfident in the finals than or they just think they are going to win without the effort. Hope they win this test series as they havn't won one in 25 or 15 years.
