I'm not a really big fan of football, mostly World Cups and tournaments are interesting, i'm more of a cricket fan
 , anyways thanks fo' opening this thread, safe. |
cricket is good to play, but can be boring to watch!

Ultimate Football Thread!
I'm very much surprised no one has posted anything on this thread for over 9 months. Come on people... there must be some football fans out there. Me i'm a long time Manchester United supporter... Red Devil Brigade as they call us.
This year's Premier League Championship is over and Manchester United are the Champions.... and they deserve to be Champions. Chelsea... well they might have their reasons, but looking at their expensively assembeled squad, they should have done better. Arsenal sitting at 4th... well after Henry got injured Arsenal's season fell appart. They seem to lack the goal scoring ability without Henry. Liverpool... as much as i hate them, they have done well to finish 3rd. They reached yet another European Championship final... which i hope they loose. Liverpool still don't have what it takes to win the Premier League. FA Cup final is comming up too and Manchester United can achieve yet another double if they can beat Chelsea at Wembley. It will turn out to be a very interesting game. I've just spoken about the English Premier League... Seria A and Spanish League are of little interest to me. But i'm sure there are other DC members out there who are more interested in these leagues. So come on... speak up. Share your thoughts and bring this thread to life again. these national friendlies are boring....euro qualifiers would be fun to watch but we don't get any live feeds in india :-( btw...i'm wholhe heartedly a Man U fan :-) |

Liverpool is "the Greatest Team In Europe" not to have won their domestic league in something like 17yrs
 And the way things r going.... looks like they wont win the English Premier League for at least another 5yrs  |

poops and the best team in europe???....they won a champions league 2 years back and they were finalists this time...thats enoguh to credit them with that title??....i seriously doubt it.....all major performers at champions league have done well in their domestic champtionships as well.....not the case with poops....they suck at EPL....in some cases it has been a stroke of luck for them in champions league....they're good but not the best.... |
