Hi ppl....

I m being able to download movies from the website....
but i m NOT BEING ABLE TO UPLOAD WHAT I DOWNLOAD...
Maximum i am able to upload is 2 kbps or so....which has brought down my Ratio...
I m using utorrent 1.7.7 & bitlord 1.1. I tried using both torrents ( not both at same time) but still i m facing uploading problems...ppl please help me...THANKS INADVANCE....

You are trying to seed whatever you download. Since you have downloaded a new torrent with a few seeders and leachers than it could be that you haven't set your utorrent by the recommended guide here on dc.
There aren't too many leachers for the movies you have downloaded now. It might be that your upload speed is only 5-6 kbs like mine lol. In this case you might want to download some music torrents as people always want music like jagjit singh mega collection to get your max upload speed.

Only use utorrent as this is the recommended on here on dc.

Check the guides here in the site assistance section to see if you have done all the requirements to utorrent like: port forwarding etc. Are you trying to seed on the torrent you download are you? It might be that you are seeding more than one torrent and therefore the speed will be low to upload.

Hey Yogesh, follow what koolguy said above ..... ur Upload speed also depends upon the number of leechers in the swarm .....

To increase ur ratio start using Music and TV torrents .... or Donate .

people thanks alot...i will try what u said...but as u said that if i have less seeds leechers...then my download speed will be low...rite??? but despite i have around 50 or 60 leechers my upload speed is only 2 or 3...rarely 5...it reaches.....

Have you done port forwarding? What this does is that opens your computer ports to connect to other peers. Here is the link - Router Configuration

Try doing this if you haven't done this already.

The thing you have to understand is that your upload speed is always going to be lower than your download speed. Eg. My connection is 256k, now my download speed is 26k max and my upload is around 5-7 max. This is totally unfair and slow from my side, however it's the commitment that counts here on dc and therefore you can always donate to get some extra gb's as Acc3ss bhai have mentioned.

However, you should be able to reach at least 5-7kbs ul speed like my one. Do port forwarding which will definitely help.

Your download and upload speed will be low if there isn't any or low seeders or leachers because your speed only works what others are providing(seeding) to you.
