Hi,

I am new to this site, I registered recently. While trying to download a torrent from the site, I see the Tracker status for any of the torrents is Failure: access denied, wait time in effect.

I am using uTorrent as my client and am running on Vista. Can somebody help?

I read that thread. It speaks about ratios based on uploads and downloads. As I am a noobie, how can that rule apply to me. I haven't downloaded anything and I would consider my ratio currently to be 1. How do I find out about my Ratio?

--> Why the rule?? Dct is a heavily leeched site.. Inorder to urge people to seed more the rule was created and put into affect nearly a year ago.. Another reason is so that new people joining the site don't use the ID's for leech-wasting..
--> Is their a way out?? Donate..
--> The best you can do is put torrents into your client with loads of leechers.. Try the Ratio-free torrents like the Music ones..
--> You will see your ratio as soon as you download something from the site.. It will start appearing from then onwards

Ps: Forgot to elaborate.. You can donate which will lead to increases in your uploaded amounts..

The criteria is as follows:

• $5 - 10GB added to your upload (to increase your ratio)
• $10 - 20GB added to your upload (to increase your ratio)
• $20 - 50GB added to your upload (to increase your ratio)
• $30 - 80GB added to your upload (to increase your ratio)
• $50 - 150GB added to your upload (to increase your ratio)

Supposing you choose to donate, whichever amount you choose would lead to an increase in your uploaded amount and therefore you would have priviliges to download stuff immediately..
