How can I set priority on torrents UL speed? Like uTorrent gives for DL, we can rank them 1, 2, 3 and so on. Is there any way I can set priority on UL as well.
Anything other than setting Bandwidth allocation to high. |

I released a torrent, it has 7 leechers but some how its UL speed is not getting over 5kB/s. Whereas overall total UL speed is around 25 - 30 Kb/s. I wanted that max UL should be of the torrent i released, but I am unable to get that.
I stopped all the other torrents. Just left 1 torrent. Still its UL speed is not increasing. Any idea, why? |

the speeds are never consistent....and also.....the other 7 leechers might be sharing the data too....
i guess its normal.....the speeds will increase at some point...... |

Just have patience .....
Cap the other uploads and wait for some time ..... keep seeding ur release u might b getting slow upload speed for many reasons ..... that might b the leechers download speed,a high speed seeder in the swarm of low speed peers etc .... |

I have already done all that. In 6hrs, i was able to upload only 100MB. And if this speed continues it will take ages to complete the release
Thanks for all those possible reasons. |

On the torrent you are uploading, right click on it and go to properties. In the window that pops up now make sure the the check box on 'Initial-Seeding' is disabled. This is an answer regarding the low upload speed problem you have..

Change the settings yourself and see what difference it is making.
These are simple settings: By default everything is set to ignore. But if you just check the box and dont make any changes it means that if ratio of any torrent reaches 150% (1.50), then you can set an upload rate to 4kBps. The upload of that torrent wont exceed 4kB/s. You can change it to anything you want, like if ratio reaches 100% (1.00), then set upload rate to 5kBps. Or you can also set it according to time, if one torrent is seeded for 5hrs, after that set its upload rate to 5kB/s You can give the seeding torrents higher priority than downloading. |

Post here:
1. Your max upload speed. 2. Your Numerical Values from the the Number of Connections heading, in the Bittorrent tab on the Preferences window. x|D Last edited by x|D; 02-07-2008 at 09:27 PM.. |

The settings are correct, as mentioned in your screenshot. 600 is the maximum number of connections and speedtest.net shows UL 230 kb/s. I guess, something is still wrong with UAE's internet speed. I guess i should stop finding any solution to it, and just let it be as it is.
Thanks for your help x|D. |

I am getting a max of 40kb/s max during upload. It use to go as high as 100kb/s a week ago but something somewhere has changed and I cant seem to find out either.
