Default seeding problem [Answered]

I've been using mtnl's broadband 256Kbps plan and today got it converted to a higher plan that is 512 Kbps. the downloading speed that i an getting is around 65-70 Kbps (approx), but the upload speed remains just 10Kbps .

moreover the network logo showz a red "!" sign always...on clicking that it directs that some port is not working and blocked, earlier it was green and with perfect up/down speeds...kindly help me upload to the fastest..in view of keeping up with the ratios.
regards
mon2

the modem which i am using is MT 882

Have you got a router and firewall?
If so, which ones?

u need to open ports in ur router
so look for your model number and then go to portforward.com and search for tutorial corresponding to your model and open ports

If ports opened in router and still icon red then make sure exception to that port is there in your firewall
