I had been facing problem with a particular torrent named Border.1997.LiMiTED.DVDRiP.XviD-D3Si.
The problem is this i added this torrent i think now nearly 2 months back it started normally but with less speed and i know how difficultly it reached to 25% and from last 2 months i am stuck at that only. Deleted the torrent from Utorrent and started it again. Other torrents from DCTorrent are working fine for me. Now also there are 4 seeders and 6 leechers so i must get some speed atleast. Please help me in this regard. tracker staus is working and my ratio is also healthy

Are u connectable ???
Is ur port properly forwarded.

From ur Utorrent press ctrl+G and check whether ur port is forwareded properly or not .....

if not then check feel free to ask back

Thanks for replying but i had downloaded 2 days back Corporate and Shaurya from Dc torrent at 200 KB/s so i dont think there is problem with my my port forwarding or like that and my uploads are also working fine to maximum allowed limit of my connection.
So Utorrent is connectable right now also i am seeding some Movies

If u are not connectable , then it doesn't mean that u will not be able to download .....
A connectable user can share data with anyone in the torrent. Two unconnectable people can't establish a connection between them. For example, If you're the only leecher and all the seeders are unconnectable, you won't get any data.
check this link for some more explanation
So just check from UTorrent and tell me whether u are connectable or not , so that we can move forward in order to resolve ur problem.

Sorry for not listening to your reply properly. The utorrent says no incoming connections in the status bar. And to forward the port correctly its a cumbersome process to first set Static IP and further. Can u tell me if there is any Software available to do this for me life PortForward dos in this regard, and offcourse iit should be free.

Nah bro, there is no software for that ... u have to set a static IP and forward ur port according to ur router ..... i know it might be hard but try to read carefully and patiently and u'll b able to do it .....
BTW who is ur ISP and have u kept UTorrent in the exceptions of WINXP .

I am on Airtel Delhi connection they are providng dynamic IP and for static ip i had to ask them and my OS is Vista Home Premium.

I m also in Delhi and have an Airtel connection .... and u don't have to ask Airtel ppl for the static IP .... infact they won't even know what a static or dynamic IP is ....

The guide for Port forwarding for Beetel220BX(Airtel router) is the simplest guide u will ever find .... it took me just 5 mins to configure a staticIP and forward my port.

U just try 1ce ... if u still don't get it ... i'll guide u in a step by step manner

BTW, what is ur Plan and how come u can download @200kbps .... Airtels 2Mbps plan is for 16000/month .....

Thanks i will give it a try on Portforwarding.com and my plan is 256Kbps UL but from last week i am getting around 2Mbps UL dont know why but still getting it. direct Downloads clock at around 250 KB/s

bro, its and i was also getting 280kbps download, 22kbps upload speed but only 4 a day

I got it working at my office where i use a desktop with XP and a billion router and utorrent is showing green icon. But at home where i use vista notebook and Beetel 220BXI. but the setup shown on portforward.com is different for my router its version is different and it doesnot have a advanced feature in it. the snapshot of the router info page is attached.

i think you have latest beetel firmware.

default page will not show the screen for portwarding.

when u type
192.168.1.1
and page opens after entering username and password.

then try this page

http://192.168.1.1/main.html

beetel has made the advanced options hidden

when advance page open look for lan
then virtual servers
and then add port there.

as far as configuring static ip is concerned

just open you lan connection

to do this right click on network connection on desktop and click properties

it will show you your network connections

select the lan

click on properties and then select tcp/ip and click properties again

their you can give ip

let it detect dns automatically but give values for ip subnet and default gateway

since u on airte

you can choose any ip

just for example say

ip : 192.168.1.24 ( you can give any value from 2 to 65 in last place where i have written 24)

in subnet once u enter ip it will give 255.255.255.0
let it be the same

and since you open your router with 192.168.1.1

give this value in default gateway because ur router is your gateway and volla u r done setting up static ip

then use the ip you gave above in router while forwarding ports.

lol its not tht difficult to learn things if u know how to google

I had everything as it is told by smartndecent but to no use. the icon on utorrent turns red saying listen error and when i change the TCP/IPV4 setting to obtain automatically it turns yellow. The same procedure worked for XP and Billion Router but i think there is some problem with Beetel 220BX and Vista OS.
