I am using utorrent 1.8 . after upgrading to 1.8 , i am seeing that I cant open the torrent files. After clicking the download link a pop up error comes

Unable to load
"Bachna%20Ae%20Haseeno%20%5b200...
Invalid torrent file!

This I am seeing for all torrents I am downloading. Can Someone pls help me.

clear ur cache if using Mozilla Firefox
or temporary files if using internet explorer

Cleared temp in IE. Still the same. My guess is its doesnt seem cache issue. Its more of how the torrent link is getting handled by utorrent 1.8.

try this ,.,.,

when u r at download now page ...
rt click at the download link,. ,save link as .,. save *.torrent file onto disk.,.,

finally ., double click on torrent file.. it should open in utorrent.,. ,(or rt click --> open with --> choose utorrent)

i tried yr suggestion !~RDA~!... still the same problem . I did both ways and it says now "unable to load ........... invalid torrent "
It seems that big files have this problem. No movies or music can be downloaded. Waiting for more help

HHmmm....This isn't a UT 1.8 bug ....
What RDA suggestd shud have workd ...
It seems lyk the torrent files not being downloaded completely .. check if the file is being downloaded completely ... the full size as mentioned on the site.

Also try opening the same torrent file in another client(aureus or some other version) or zip the torrent file and upload it here .. let us try that torrent file on our clients ....

Acc3ss.. I saw abt 3 hrs after I had tried downloading a new movie torrent that the torrent was not uploaded properly so the link has been d/c. Is it poossible that even if we are seen a lot of Seeds/ leeches , the torrents may not be working right on dctorrent.com and so I am getting this msg? I have still to try on a new torrent program , but

I jsut tried http://www.dctorrent.com/attachment....tid=74498&step= ( phookh ) and it gave the same error msg. can someone else can try and tell me if they were successful in opening the link in Utorrent 1.8 . thanks for all the help u guys are giving. I hope we can nail the problem soon.

there are 2 solutions of this problem., and both of them have been mentioned earlier...

1. as smartndecent said... clear ur cache...

follow this guide :- Fix for "invalid torrent file"

2 . the one i mentioned... ie store on disk OR open directly (vice-e-versa)....

make sure ur cache is cleared ... as it seems like ur passwd is getting rejected when u click on download link... also make sure ur browser matches ie if u login to FF u download via FF only..

vjsd44, i want the torrent that you use to load in ur client and not the link ....
Upload here, the torrent file(after zipping it) which u were not able to load in ur client.

Delete ur browser cache files & redownload the torrent. The torrent file isnt getting downloaded completely.

If you still have problems, change to other browser and try.
