Hi guys,

I have a problem with my computer and whenever i open utorrent my computer crashes and so m not able to open my utorrent. i am downloading all the files to external hard drive. So, i was wondering if i install utorrent on my other computer....and if i download the same torrent again and save at the same place where it was before..will it resume the download or it will download it from the beginning.

it will resume if u set it properlly

ie open torrent in utorrent
-stop it
-rt click -- advanced -- set download location
- point it to ur external hdd location
- start / resume download
- it will recheck and resume ur download...

regarding . ur comp getting crashed.. do u get any error ? or and logging enabled ? are u using latest version of utorrent ? or ur windows is properlly patched ?

The problem with my computer is there is spyware and it has infected my computer a lot i will have to format my computer but thats not my problem is..

I also know how to change location but the problem is i will have to move it to another computer which do not have utorrent in it. The downloads that are not finished are getting saved in my external hard drive..so, if i install utorrent and connect external hard drive to that another computer..it will resume the download that are not finished or it will start frm the beginning.
