I had ~50movies on an External Hard drive that I was continously seeding after downloading from different members. Last weekend, my hard drive did not respond. After couple of reboots everything seemed fine. I even scaned the drive for any viruses etc. [I do have real-time protection package installed].
Now the problem: Before the problem my Hard drive was seen from the computer as "E: drive" Now suddenly it has become F:drive??? I am not a tech-savvy person. Can someone please tell me how do I enter a command so that my external hard drive shows as E-drive? I want to keep seeding these movies but the Torrent does not recognize the "files" and brings up an error message: "files do not exist in the path" I even tried setting the new path (F-drive) in the Torrent setting but, it still gave the same message. |

Rt click -- > My computer -- > manage --> disk management
rt click on ur ext hdd --> properties search for some option to change ext hard drive letter.. (I dont have my ext hdd with me to guide thru last step). Make sure ur hdd is powered on ... also it will show E: only if it is not occupied... which device is E: now ? as to me it looks like u have multiple usb devices / external drives (even ipod / camera / mp3 / flash can take up E |
