Hi i need to know is it possibile that . when we are downloding something from torrent is it possibile to get some viruos if yes so how can i save my pc from this.

it is possible for u to get viruses when u are dling something from torrents. However, if u are just using dctorrent to dl something than u dont need to worry as everything here is virus free.

If u are using some other site to dl anything than get avast free edition, i think this scans ur torrent to see if u got something or not.

All good antivirus programs provide protection to file downloads (if you have enabled it)...

just be careful when you download some programs or from un-reliable source...

there might be more ppl with more solutions.. many the merrier.. lets see what others say... as i use avast and it has option to provide protection against p2p downloaded data... thts why utorrent community doesn't like it ...

Yes, it is possible. That is, if the uploader(or another Peer) is uploading Virus infected files then there is a possibility that u might be downloading virus infected files.

Solution :
1) Alwayz keep ur Anti-Virus Active
2) Run scans frequently
3)1st thing after u download, should be scanning it with ur anti-Virus
4) Alwayz download from reliable sources.


So technically someone could be sending you a virus/malicious data instead of a piece of the file - but when you receive it, BitTorrent would hash the malicious content, discover that it did not match the real hash, and discard it. (Read up on cryptographic hash functions or SHA-1, the hashing algorithm used by µTorrent.)
So, while BitTorrent makes sure you get what you asked for when you downloaded the torrent file, it can't guarantee that the torrent file wasn't malicious in the first place - which is where anti-virus software comes into play.

ya it's possiable download from other torrents sites
use anitivirus software Eset nod32 & uske baad u loose system file and in ur pc or laptop have any problem than use combo fix software to fix all problems of system files
