The problem in utorrent

When ever i am trying to download any torrent file it give me this error and its not able to connect and download .can anone help me out plzzzz.

utorrent 1.8 isnt stable yet, better use 1.7

Go in preferences & disable DHT

Make sure the utorrent port is open in ur firewall & port forwarded if u have a router

how to do tat ? and how to check the port can u plz tell me . And how to disable DHt ?

First :- at the top of utorrent go to options --> preferences
Or just press Ctrl+p ... Both are the same


Second :- Click Bittorrent of the left side of the settings page

Third :- uncheck the following boxes:
1. Enable DHT networks,
2.Enable DHT for new torrents,
3.Enable Peer Exchange.
once all those are unchecked just click Ok ..

And you are done ..

Press Ctrl+P

Go to Connections option > There you can see your utorrent port in use
Go to Bittorrent option > There uncheck Enable DHT
