Need someone of you to tell me how to reseed a torrent ..
I have the files downloaded, but I had changed thier names after they finished downloading...

u should keep same file name which u have downloaded , if u have changed then u have to change it with original file name ( u can get original file name from same thread where u have downloaded that file). for how to start seeding read this : Creating, Releasing And Seeding Torrent On DCT

Go to the thread which you want to re-seed the torrent from.
Slide down where you download the torrent.
Then it should have a yellow dropdown section where it says "Name". Click the orange icon on the right hand side of the column and it should display the file names. Change the filenames of the files on your computer to exactly these ones.

As yu know, in uTorrent, there are two folders, one in which the file/folder is stored until it is completed, then the folder in which the completely downloaded file/folder is transferred .. Where shud I put the file/folder that I have to reseed .. ??

No, in uTorrent all the files go to the folder you choose regardless of whether they are completed or not. Put the files anywhere on your computer and when you open that file in uTorrent and it asks where to save it, select the location where you have the files already renamed. It should then check for existing files and will seed when checked 100% successfully. Your upload speed won't get higher unless you are connected to people who are 'leeching' the torrent.

It all depends what are ur current options / settings in utorrent...

if u have separate folders set for complete / incomplete downloads.. then to get reseeding automatically started .. put files in either of them.. (i will prefer incomplete) as then it will ask that file already exists .. do you want to reuse data .. it will recheck and start seeding...

OR

You can put data anywhere ... open torrent in utorrent... stop it ... rt click on torrent. .. advanced... set download location and point it to ur downloaded file ... OK ... start torrent...
