Not sure about that but check if your default work area is extended too much.
If so scroll horizontally to extreme right n vertically to bottom n see a small dot at corner of white space which on mouse over gives option to resize. Drag it to shorten the canvas appropriately. it is better to keep it very small before pasting the Screenshot so that paint automatically adjusts it to size of your screenshot. |

hmmm strange, i've just tried it works fine for me, u might be doing something wrong.
open the image with paint again, and and select the area u want to appear in image and right click then select copy to. see if that help |

Lets start with how pbrush works.....
When you do alt+prtSc.. it captures current window into clipboard ... and ctrl+v into pbrush pastes into the new blank image file... so if your current/new image file has dimensions very long ... then as per copy-paste , it will just paste on left upper corner of image and rest of image will be blank... fix : open pbrush , winkey+r --> pbrush , hit enter .... press Ctrl +E .... reduce the dimensions to bare minimum... let it be width = 10 and Height = 10 ie 10x10 image.... You will see small pre/blank image... not press Alt+PrtSc... and paste image into pbrush... It will auto resize the blank image to size of captured image.... You have to reduce image size whenver u capture large screen as blank image size will always be size of last image... Hope it helps... |

It will be really great if one carefully reads what other is asking and reply only if one has a solution.... just replying with that it works for me or use some other program never helps... as everyone get paint brush as part of windows .. so it is pretty obvious as there is something wrong with his settings than some problem with pbrush itself... it is always good to help others but only if you have some suggestion/solution... or else i just creates more work for us to read and do the cleanup...
