Error: unregistered torrent [Answered]

Hi,
I just created a new torrent (using Transmission on Mac) and already posted to DC here.
I followed the steps given at Creating, Releasing and Seeding Torrent on DCT.

But my client shows the error: "unregistered torrent" and my DCT post does not list me as a seeder.
The torrent that I downloaded from my post consists of my passkey.

From what I understand about this error, DCT is not tracking this torrent but I am not sure why. Note that I had deleted my original torrent attachment to this post and uploaded a new one. I hope this is not causing any issues.

Could someone please help me.

^^ first of all go ahead and delete the passkey which u have entered above. please dont post your passkey anywhere. make sure u reset ur passkey later on though.

go ahead and re-download after posting the torrent. make sure ur logged in while downloading the torrent.

See the torrent that you have created in your client, don't open that in your client to upload. Go to the thread that you created the torrent for and download the torrent that you had uploaded there and open that in your client.

Yes, I had done the same earlier (and repeated it again now) but am still getting the same error.
I went through the steps specified in the Guide again and realized that Transmission never prompted me to "load the trackers" from the torrent that I downloaded from my thread. I had to remove my original torrent that I created from Transmission and add the newly downloaded one. Do you think that can cause the problem?

No, I don't think that would cause a problem. I've looked around and found out that Transmission sometime causes this problem. Could you try uTorrent or another trusted client if possible?
