Error message while downloading and seeding torrents[Answered]

I am using utorrent 1.7.5. Everytime I download a serial I get the following message:

"NO connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it". Please help. I have read and correctly installed utorrent.

Downloading Remote Control. Tried download Annu ki ho gayi waah bhai waah but the same mssg appeared so I removed it as in stopd downloading it.

Tracker problem !! [Solved]

If you are using PeerGuardian or any other ip blocking software.. The you need to allow dctorrent's IP address manually.. As it is being blocked.. ie allow72.11.144.56

It worked for me .... good luck

then why dont u also try the same thing suggested by Rda and same thing that has been done and fixed by several people.

You dint put any info about error are u getting (if u r getting any), did you try other things posted earlier in this thread ?

Try those and then let us know so that we can help u better.

Thanx did all that but now am getting the following error message "offline (timed out). Can't seed even. Same message appears.

exit utorrent and start it again.

utorrent 1.7.5 sometimes gives this error. i have come across this quite a few times in recent times.

if it troubles you alot then you can shift to utorrent 1.7.2 or 1.6.1

if ask me 1.6.1 is the best utorrent version till now as it reports all the stats very correctly with least problems all the 1.7 series version have one bug or the other

and if you still get the error then would refer azureus 2.5.0.4

In a sticky thread in help section [ Access denied? Banned client? Read This ], you said all the versions of uTorrent 1704 and previous are banned. And now you are suggesting to move to 1.6

There are chances that I am not understanding the versions properly

for utorrent specific client versions are mentioned

Thank you so much. However, now a major problem has arisen. When I downloaded (I uninstalled the existing version of utorrent) v 1.6.1 the one that you recommended none of the torrents appeared. So, I manually went to my torrents folder and clicked on all the torrents. Now instead of seeding all torrents are downloading afresh. What should I do???

do either :-

- Go to preferences of ur utorrent and set the same download location .. then delete torrents and add them again.,.,

OR
-stop the downloading... rt click --> advanced --> set download location ... point it to downloaded file... then start downloading again...
Do this for every torrent..

Thanks RDX that worked..

Another problem is that I am getting a red exclamation sign mark which says "Not connectable". I forwarded the port the way it was mentioned in the guide, however, the red exclamation mark continues and its not letting me download a thing faster.
