Yes there were. They became inactive after i changed the pass key.

Just another question to ask, what is the response time interval for a member to respond from tech team? I mean within how many days they will solve my problem?

In a matter of hours, once someone checks out your problem. Usually, when the tracker is down, you should be able to continue downloading from the seeds you are already connected to.. Did this occur in your case ?

nope. It got disconnected from all the seeders before resetting the passkey and same after resetting it.

And you've tried downloading other torrents like movies ?? Try Ratio-free torrents like MUSIC and tell me if you can.

Movies from other websites in order to check the health of utorrent which is ok.

No, actually I strictly meant movies from DcT. This might indicate a problem with DcT and your account. The only thing you can do now is seed while you wait for a response, so redownload your torrents and seed . Good Luck.

Just talked with a admin, here is wat he told :

Wait time rules have been changed a bit & you need 4GB upload minimum, to avoid 48 hours wait time on all new torrents. This change will be announced shortly.

OMG!

I don't have anything that I can upload so that it reaches to 4 GB at least. That means I have to wait for 48hrs i.e. 2 days so that I will get a chance to download on every new torrent.

Is that the case where every time I download a new torrent from the website, I have to wait until 48 hours are done and then it will start automatically unless and otherwise I reached my Upload level to 4 GB?

If so then, that is too harsh - that's what I think. Sorry If I am rude.

well its not harsh. due to massive increase in the number of users when registrations were open we have been facing lots of hit and run cases so to overcome this has been enabled.

anyways for as far as you concerend download 5-6 latest music torrents and let them seed.
you just need to seed 630 mb to overcome this issue
they r ratio free so download wont count they will work and upload them and it will be fine in matter of hours.

n its gud that u are tryin ur best to seed soo much u are on the right path n that is pretty evident by the decent ratio that u have .... u just need some time n u will be past 4gb just like that

so dont worry n keep seeding, remember the wait time is just temporary for u ... fir thode dino mein u will be able to DL like rest of the users who have gud ratio n no wat times in effect

deepak wait time is started frm the moment the rlser posts his torrent on dct.... so that means if u DL it say 24 hrs after it was rlsed u will only have to wait another 24hrs... hope that answers ur query.

also its not that harsh... this is actually a pretty standard rule anywhere in the private tracker torrent community... DcT was just bein lenient with its users by not implementin this earlier... but when situation changes, it calls for tougher measures.

basically the idealogy behind the 4gb upload min for wait times is that when free reg was open, prev users with bad ratio cud have created dupe IDs... altho almost all of them are caught automatically by the system n purged, there are some that may get away... as a result all they do is leech and leech frm the site until those accts get banned also.... wait times in effect are meant to deter those ppl who think they can just create new acct n jump on new torrents (to leech) n get all the benefits like regular, old time users without puttin in their due time n effort.

in ur case, u are tryin ur best so like i said keep at it n u will be at n even past ur 4gb goal in no time at all

I have also started to seed quite alot and my ratio is improving so I guess it wont be long till i get 4GB. Its just a matter of time and I understand where you guys are coming from about these rules. I was pretty shocked and upset about it earlier but im alright now. Like I said, I do understand.
