i was just wondering if i have an .avi video thats sat 10 mins long and i want to cut a specific part of it like 1 mins-3 mins of it whats the easiest way to do this?

none of them worked they said i needed a different codec or sumthin and i couldnt find what they were talking about

use some codec finder... ie google for gspot software ,., open ur video,., it will tell which codec u need...

or else install k-lite codec ., ,and then try virtual dub..

ok i got virtual dub now how do i select the part i want and delete the rest of it?

just play around with it ., it has markers whcih u can put on starting and ending video., then save as ... or do google for tutorial.,. help urself a bit...
