how to convert .ivr to .avi or .mp4 or etc .

Like i have the video on my pc n its on .ivr format but i wanna change tat to the .avi or someother format can nyone tell me plz . Thanks in advance btw i dont have cd or dvd burner if some one will tell me i wil b really appreciate there time to help me out . And sorry to bother u

have patience yaar .......

IVR(internet video recording) is the default format of steam downloads via real player.

The usual method to convert it

1) Burn it on a CD
2)Then rip it to desired format .

Because there is no default convertor for IVR format.

Edit : here is what i found on the net ..... U have to check it urself because i havn't tested it. Just found it on the net.

thanks for the reply but can u tell me tat how to rip tat ivc n burn it bcoz i dont have so much knowledge on it so . So can u tell me step by step if u dont mind

Use realplayer to burn ivr onto CD (don't know which flavor of realplayer supports that ... gold version should do that)...

the use any software (wmedia player, wimamp, itunes etc etc ) to rip it back into ur fav flavor...

as u have mentioned that you dont have cd burner... then use virtual CD drive ., google and you will find many

guys i found out tat i can convert tat file into the .iso but now nyone know how to convert that file to .avi .I mean .iso to .avi . Plz give me some solution

ISO is not a video file type.. it is an archive file type like rar, zip.....

so what you have found is to package your file into a iso container ... you did not change the video file type ...

hope it clarifies

Edit : If you made this iso from writing your file format to a CD/DVD (real or virtual) .. then it is already in mpeg / dat format ie VCD format in your CD... but if you directly converted it to ISO .. then it is not the correct way

There is no way that you can convert an .ivr video file to any other format.. You can convert the audio only.. Using magicdisk and windows media player/ real player..
