i cant seem to download movies from DC from time to time. i get the error "peers limit reached"

earlier i had a ratio <1.0 so was told to improve ratio for immediate downloading. i now have a ratio of 1.42 but still im gettin the error

im downloadin two xDr's 1cd pdvdrips of khoya khoya chand and dus kahaniyaan.. DH is giving the error while [strike]KKC is giving tracking status working but is not download[/strike] my bad, its downloading.. but DK is still not working

Many times internet connection gets dropped e.g. If you are using any router :- Many times there is surge from cable internet provider, this doesnt effect their modem but router gets effected, so internet is temporarily dropped.

But utorrent will keep on trying to download and hence fail. Tracker updates occur every 15mins or so. So after connection resumes it will take some time to get utorrent back onto downloading.

This can be expedited by rt click on torrent and select update tracker. This will result in begining of instant tracker update. So after some time download resumes.

If nothing helps. Exit from utorrent and restart it.

As per my experience xDR releases are seeded at very very fast rate so it hardly takes more than couple of hours to download 1cd rips.

if the internet connection had dropped, the second torrent, khoya khoya chand wud also not download. but that is being downloaded, but not dus kahaniyaan

Dus Kahaniyan had temporarily given a status of working, but after downloading 18.7% again its tracker status says : Failure, access denied. peers limit reached

i manually updated the tracker, no luck

well zubi exact answer to your question is still a question in this torrent world

though there r many explanations to it.

in most of the cases it happens when someone shares the account and two people download the same torrent from same account and try to download it from 2 different locations so tracker blocks 2 different ips for same account and so this error comes.

sometime client duplicates same amount to tracker twice and so tracker rejects and gives error.

most of the time i have seen people using utorrent having this problem
on the whole utorrent is best client but see nothing is perfect.

try using azureus but not latest version as u might get confused withe latest vuse version
try Azureus_2.5.0.4a
and see if u get problem there as well.

in most of the case the basic troubleshoot method is to stop the client exit it and restart.
but in some cases u have no option but to wait.

I checked this from a utorrent help website and they had mentioned this:

It means the TRACKER is overloaded with too many ips connecting to it. Its peer limit is being overloaded, so it's sending out these peer limit notices to anyone trying to connect AFTER it is overloaded.

All you can do is try again later and run fewer torrents (to that tracker) at a time.

yet again i treid to download welcome xdr n i cudnt download. this time the error is WAIT TIME IN EFFECT

are u behind proxy ? or ur isp is caching files

delete all cached files n just redownload the torrent, that should work file

im nt behind proxy nor is my isp caching files.if it did, i wudnt be able to download the other movies i have dled from dc and other sites

pm a admin with screenshot of ur client with the error & announce url , they should help you out

Try -
1- Rt click --> update tracker OR
2- Rt click --> force start OR
3.- file-> exit and then restart utorrent

Hope something helps... As 1 & 3 always worked for me...

i just hadnt tried 2) tried that too n it didnt work..
