Hey techies, I have issue with the browser---internet explorer and firefox. The issue is that when I am uploading my downloads to a full speed; the full speed I get for upload is about 80 kB/s. My browser slows down and takes forever to load the page. If I am not uploading anything then my browser works perfectly fine and the page loads really really fast. Also, I wanted to mention that If im uploading my downloads at low speed then my browser works perfectly fine, low upload speed is 22 KB/s. If you anyone out there have solution to my problem, please help me and I'd be really thankful to you.

Your browser needs some of upload bandwidth to send requests or ack back to server / dns...

so check ur max speed using some third party speed sites.. there is one mentioned in utorrent speed settigns itself (ctrl+G)

leave 5kbps for internet and use rest for uploading... ie if ur max speed is 80.. hard code max upload speed to 75 in utorrent (options -> connections -> max upload speed)

I agree with what RdA suggested but you need to leave out more.. Leaving 5kbps will make a minor difference..
For normal home connections cap ur upload speed and download speed in Utorrent preferences to 80% of what you usually get.. Dun use the speedtest values cuz they are just an estimate.. You knew that for Upload u get 80kbps max.. So cap upload speed to 80% 0f 80 = 64.. Nd do the same for download..

Thank you guys..for the solution to my problem. I knew that already for limiting my upload speed. I want to know if its possible to upload my downlads at full speed of 80 kbps and be able brows the web pages normally? If you guys don't know the solution then you can lock this thread because i don't have any more questions related to the problem and thank you techies....

Whatever myself and xD have answered, is the ideal solution.. it is good that you already knew that...

Just think, your max speed of internet is 80kbps.. how can you upload at max speed and still browse smoothl??? not possible !!!
