I am brand new to DCtorrent, just registered today. I set up utorrent and set all the options as stated in the help file. When I set a particular file to download (http://dctorrent.com/f68/world-bhangra-concert-2006-a-34130/#post420975) (world bhangra concert), it says status "downloading" but there is no information coming in, it just says under Done 0.0%.

1- why isn't it downloading?
2- how does uTorrent communicate your log in information to this site? IE am I supposed to enter my log in and password somehwere in utorrent?

There are no seeders in that torrent. If you see any numbers in the green, then there is someone who is seeding the file so that you can download it. If there are no seeders, there will be no downloads. Try a torrent that has seeders in them.

yes like sultana ji said, its a very old torrent with 0 seeds n leechers apart frm u... so there is no data available to be shared on that torrent... u cud try bumpin it ppl who have DLed it might seed it back if they it has leeches again.... alternatively u can PM the last 10 ppl who DLed the rls n request them to seed it back for u

u can find that list right where u get the torrent frm, just click one of the slider menus.

since this is a private tracker torrent community... everythin u DL comes associated with a hash/passkey that is unique and applicable to ur n only ur acct... utorrent sends update back every 10-15 mins to the site... the server then computes the data, associates the amounts to ur accts n u get credited for it.

so in short, no u dont need to do anythin in uT once u DL the torrent.

That really sucks, that file was the main reason I registered onto this site. How can you tell there are no seeders?

Also, to see a list of the people who downloaded it, you said click on one of the slider menus.... where / what is a slider menu? I can't find where to click
