Im sure we all have a heard of this or come across it, What do you think of it?
Do you think its right or wrong, would u marry outside your religion and what do u think of people who say that they will ONLY marry within their own religion? |

well I personally don't think anything is wrong with that.
Some people are really religious so they would not marry anybody outside of their religion. but what I think when people start saying "marry within your own caste" . then it gets over the limit no offense. I think it would be much easier then for the children and maybe also for the rest of the family. So the children won't have to be confused on to what religion they should follow. But I don't think there's anything wrong with it to marry someone who's got a different religion when you love and have a mutual understanding between each other. |

Being a muslim, you are allowed to marry people of the book. If you dont want to consult your religion, then its your decision.

I am from a conservative family. Ever since I was a child I have been bestowed with religious mantras. One of them is marrying someone fromm the same religion. My parents have specially emphasized this fact about life.
As for me, if I am marrying someone then it would be like going against my family. I am not really sure if I want to do that or maybe I am not really mature to make that decision.. I dont know ... I am not really old enough to get married right now but I do get phone calls from my family, who are desperately hunting the right girl for me....ofcourse same religion..oh ya same caste also...ya it does get weird i know marriage is about sharing love....but marriage outside th religion requires more understanding. And I dont think I am ready for that |

^^well if you are talking about religous, conservative families then I don't think they would unless you get your love converted into the same religion as you.

i personally do not think that there is something wrong in marrying someone who is not following the same religion as you...but those who think that it is wrong will hardly change their mind...

Ya, there is nothing wrong with marrying someone outside of your religion as long as you love that person and have a decent understanding between you. However, there is also that family issue that comes into play. Will your family approve? How would they react etc.
For me, personally i would prefer to marry someone within my religion, but you never know, i might fall in love with someone lol.. |
