Hi fellow DcTorIans...

I have my Sony Ericsson and when I hook it to my computer, it does show up in My Computer. But when I try to access the Memory Card/Phone Memory folder on it, I see this ..i.e. a folder with a LOCK on it and when i try to access it, I am unable to browse the contents of the folder. :All that comes up is the ' torchlight" that searches for the contents.

I also have VISTA installed and in VISTA, the problem is that the folders have a "no entry" sign next to them.

HOPE someone can show me the solution, tried GOOGLING it but no SUCCESS.

Did you use some kind of folder locking / encrypting software or does your phone have some feature like this inbuilt?

btw, if not already checked, make sure mem card has no problems.

Instead of choosing 'Phone Mode' at prompt when connected, choose 'Media Transfer'.
Thats what I do on my K850i.
