Trick To Get The Best Download And Upload Speed Via LAN OR NIC CARD

Hi Team,

Namaste 2 all @ DCT

Well i am back with a special trick that can really boost the speed of download and uplaod too but kindly follow the steps given below and check the notes at the end....

Click on start and go to Run

Type devmgmt.msc {Shortcut to Device Mangaer}

The device manger will look like this :

Under Netwok Adaper u can select the Nic card based on the Motherboad Manufacturer like : Nvidia, Realteak, Gigabit or Intel pro wireless etc as shown

Right click on the cards and select properties and Click on Advance and you shall see something like this and then select Speed Duplex Settings and then select the appropriate half open and check the diffrence in the speed as given below

Very important is that kindly download two or three torrents to get the best speed and kindly give 10-15 min for the torrent to attain the speeds as its Depends upon the life of the torrent.

out of the following which one shud i select
and tell me one more thing - you have highlighted the 10 Mbps half mode - why so? i mean why not 100 Mbps at Full Duplex ???

Well its depends upon the speed that you are connected and u can select any of them to c the best results which gives you the optimum solution as i am using 384kpbs line i have selected 100mpbs/half duplex. Give a try and leave the Feedback and i would say wait 4 10-20 mins to c the effect of the changes made.

I AM BACK TO MY 100 MBPS FULL DUPLEX - IT ROCKS - WELL BEFORE THAT "AUTO NEGOTIATION" WAS SELECTED AND MY LAN CONNECTION WAS MADE AT 100 MBPS AND I CUDNT FIND WHETHER IT WAS HALF DUPLEX OR FULL DUPLEX - WELL NOW I CHOSE 100 MBPS FULL DUPLEX AND I CAN CLEARLY SEE THE DIFFERENCE - TORRENTS ARE CONNECTED WITHIN 10 SECS AND THE COUNTDOWN ( update in 29 mins ) STARTS INSTANTLY.

@love_2006 : well your speed is 384 and you could afford to chose 100 at half duplex but i cant coz its 2 Mbps ( varying though ) and its advantageous to chose 100-FD for peepel lik me.
