hi,
I have trend micro-cillin internet security 14 & I dont want this to open when i start-up the Window So how do i stop trend micro-cillin internet security 14 opening on start up windows (when i open my computer) |

Listen Fariha.
Just Do one thing. Go to Start => Run => Nw here Type Msconfig , Den click on ok Nw another window will open up. In dat window visit the last tab i.e The Startup tab u'll see a list of programs there,Just Uncheck the ones wich u dunt want to run automatically on Windows Start up ! In dis Case uncheck "trend micro-cillin internet security 14"... Dats it. |

idk abt this program but u can just browse thru it's properties and find out the startup option

It will not be called "Trend Micro Cillin....." it will have a short name such as cillin.exe etc

load the program open it's main window and go to the program options like for example in internet explorer its tools>options something like that there should be options in it and then find the startup option and turn it off. this is easier since u dont have to find it's service thru msconfig or what u can do is there is location next to the prog name in msconfig so u can just find the prog's location and do it

try startup inspector
it is free and you can add or remove many startup components. it will surely remove the trend one. |

ok ...do it from registry directly...you dont need any software
Open Regedit from "RUN" And goto this location in Regedit "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run" Here you can see list of all softwares....which starts with windows Just delete those entries from the list and done... Cheers |
