whenever i select a rstore point to restore me system , it restarts and starts restoring, but after the restart it shows that "restroration incomplete. try another restore point".
please help me guys.

It might be possible that restore data is corrupt or incomplete.... Why you want to restore ur system to that point ??? as we might be able to solve that problem instead of restore thinge... As restore is very very system specific... I doubt we can do anything to fix it...

After reboot, just check whether the reason u are restoring is solved or not....

Also , you are member since July 2006 ... and have 5 posts , 0 thanks... try to be more active or else admins might just remove you...

Did you recently use any tricks or tweaks to speed up shut down time ? Mostly this is caused due to faulty writes to restore points during improper shutting down. Really Sucks. Try opening up System Restore in safe mode and restore to the same point. [Hit F8 during boot]. Ive had this many times, and restoring in SafeMode worked for me.

what? Safe Mode works ?

definitly.....it will work fine in safe mode 101 % it will..... coz wen u start computer in safe mode it will not run background applications...there are few applications which conflict with reading system restore (backup) file... and if you try to restore your system to second last checkpoint it will work in normal sartup...so give it a try...
