hello, i wanted to know why is this happening,

when i converted a divx file, in ipod there was sound and can see video.

when i converted a wmvfile, in ipod there was no sound.
when i converted a avi file, in ipod there was no sound. both can see video.

why for wmv and avi there is no sound. the whole video comes can see, but no voice. all these files i tried r tvserials. i converted them for ipod mpeg 4 video.

when i convert a song video file then there is sound and video. but for tv serial there is no sound. e.g for song video avi there is sound and video.

can anyone please give me some help on this. please give me some suggestions for ipod file conversion.

hello in computer i try to search for a software, then i try.
i have tried many. for the tv serial file i get no sound for wmv and avi.

for example i tried
lenogo video to ipod converter,
it says there movie width 320
movie height 240
movie frame rate: same as source
there is choice 23.97,24.0,25.0,29.97,30.0fps. i don't know what to choose.

actually i don't know what should be the proper settings, is there a proper thing to choose ,i need help.

i tried also ultra ipod video converter it says
320* 240
in profile i chose 216kbps stero 96kbps, there is choice.

even some others i tried,some give setings themselves.they choose the settings, still there is no sound.
well actually please let me know what should the correct settings, profile be.
