Default Help - Microsoft Office 2003 Installation Problem

Please Help

I have installed MS Office 2003 recently, the installation completed smoothely but when I run the programmes e.g. Outlook, the splash screen appears and I get the follwing error: "Microsoft Office Outlook has not been installed for the current user. Please run setup to install the application". When I click OK on the error the programme just exits. This happens for Work, Excel etc.

In the installation method I DID choose 'full' so everything should be installed, that can't be the problem. This is genuine copy of MS Office 2003 Pro.

I only have a single account on my comp, that is my own admin account. I'm using that one account to install and run the programme. There's no password or a restriction on that account.

Many Thanks.

If you are using Windows XP home edition log on to windows in safe mode uninstall the existing copy and install it again...

and if you don't have Home edition XP try installing it again and tell us if problem, persist..

I'm using XP Pro SP2, I have tried unistalling/re-installing ms office several times every time resulting with the same problem. R U suggesting I try and re-install XP Pro again.
Different Question:
Can I install XP home edition on top of XP Pro.

1.When u open up ur accout .... Uninstall all the Components of MS office
2.Logout from the current account .
3.U get the Screen of Accounts u have ..but u have only one ...
4.But thr is one more account in ur system which is hidden ..
To open it do the Following
5.Press Ctrl+Alt+Del (Twice) on the Accounts Screen Displayed
6.U get a Log On bar ..With Name Administrator .By Default the Pass is (Blank)
7.Get into that account and install MS Office.Try if this works

well this will be ideal if u use only 1 OS as xp pro! and as u r using genuine office cd than u may need to activate ur product online[generally] and if the problem persists than contact microsoft online support/help.
after installing the office reboot ur pc and dont check the delete temp file at the last part of the installation! good luck

man all this happens if u have one software original nad the other pirated version.
i suggest if u r using pirated versions then install all the pirated softwares and if u use original then use allt he softwares origianl versions.
well i will soon join dc hub if ur probs is not solved then u can take the office setup from me .
but u have to wait for 1 or 2 days for that
hope this helps
